Overview

IRMA is an alarm notification system specifically designed to satisfy your remote equiment or telecommunications site's monitoring needs. With 16 Inputs, you can monitor any type of sensors, such as:

  • Smoke/Fire
  • Humidity
  • Water level
  • Temperature
  • Energy failure
  • Site's door open/closed
  • Equipment's alarm port
  • Others...

In brief, IRMA can monitor up to 16 signals from sensors or equipment, be it "Dry Contact" type or CMOS or TTL levels or any voltage signal between 2.5V ac/dc and 56V ac/dc.

When an alarm condition exists in any of its 16 ports, IRMA sends an alarm notification message via an Ethernet 10BaseT link to IRMA Console, the central alarm management software application, residing in up to 4 different servers for backup and reliability purposes.

IRMA Console displays the alarm information in the computer screen. The user can create redirection rules, so when an alarm is received, IRMA Console can redirect the message to E-Mail accounts and radiobeeper numbers* (*with Web based access).

If the Ethernet link happens to fail and an alarm condition exists, IRMA can establish a Dial-Up connection to an ISP (Internet Service Provider), via its internal 33Kbps modem, and send an E-Mail alarm notification message to a pre-configured account. IRMA Console downloads messages received at this master E-Mail account and then prints the alarm condition in the computer screen and applies the redirection rules to notify the required personnel.
